Archival Company, About Us

A Company
Like No Other
Archives aren’t about dusty boxes, steel shelves and cement floors – you’re seeing it all wrong. They’re where creativity thrives, great minds meet and clarity occurs. An insight is unlocked, a door swings wide open and from inside the future leaps out.
On the outskirts of Atlanta there sits a corporate campus which is home to the archives of hundreds of the world’s best-known and most highly regarded brands. More than 100 million assets are safeguarded in state-of-the art facilities, protected by disaster preparedness and response plans and supported by teams of professional archivists, researchers and writers, historians and creatives who work tirelessly to discover, mine and make history accessible, and bring never-before-seen stories to life.
Over the past 15 years, Heritage Werks has redefined the centuries-old approach to archives, developing proprietary technologies and service innovations to become the world leader in managed solutions for archival content. All during a time when there’s been a foundational shift toward storytelling and the creation, distribution and consumption of premium IP.
Today, we continue our mission toward a huge blue ocean goal. Our people, more than 100 strong and growing, and our culture are fueling innovation for organizations of all types and sizes. Yet with everything we’ve accomplished, we recognize that heritage is much bigger than ourselves and our company — it’s a global driver of engagement, and we’ve only just scratched the surface of what’s possible.

The future is already here — it’s just not evenly distributed yet.

AI Partnership to Revolutionize Access & Use of Historical Collections
In a move set to transform the field of archival management, Heritage Werks has entered into a groundbreaking partnership with Tech AI, the AI hub at Georgia Tech. This collaboration aims to revolutionize the cataloging, access, and preservation of historical collections, setting new standards for digital asset management through advanced artificial intelligence (AI).
Traditional archives often face challenges related to scale, accessibility, and context. Tech AI is addressing these issues by leveraging innovative AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. These advancements enhance the accessibility, organization, and long-term digital preservation of valuable historical collections.
“Partnering with Heritage Werks is an incredible opportunity to apply Georgia Tech’s cutting-edge AI research to real-world challenges in archival management,” said Pascal Van Hentenryck, A. Russell Chandler III Chair and professor, and the director of both Tech AI and the NSF Artificial Intelligence Institute for Advances in Optimization (NSF AI4OPT). “We’re not only preserving history but are also reimagining how it can be experienced.”
By harnessing the power of AI, this partnership enables organizations to make their historical collections more discoverable, engaging, and valuable in the digital age.
